As a surfer of some 30+ years, an open ocean swimmer, and scuba diver, who had travelled the world extensively, the need to “do something” about the increasing amount of waste around us became overwhelming.

There’ll be a lot more to come on this topic in the future, but let’s just say that while setting up the business, Steve’s main motivation was to find a way of keeping stuff out of landfill in a creative and useful way. So there was a lot of thinking to be done about how to set things up.
